In the case of being qualified for admission to two first-cycle degree programmes selected within a single registration (one account in the SIR system), documents must be submitted for only one chosen programme.

In order to apply for admission to a second-cycle degree programme leading to the award of the professional title of magister inżynier (Master of Science in Engineering), the candidate must hold the title of inżynier (Engineer), magister inżynier (Master of Science in Engineering), or an equivalent qualification.

Legal basis: § 18(2) of the Annex to Resolution No. 29/2024 of the Senate of Rzeszów University of Technology of 28 June 2024 on the conditions, procedure, and dates of commencement and completion of admissions for first- and second-cycle degree programmes in the 2025/2026 academic year.
Pursuant to § 26 of the Study Regulations at Rzeszów University of Technology, it is not permitted to undertake studies in the same field of study simultaneously, regardless of the mode of study.
Example 1: A candidate applies for full-time second-cycle studies in Computer Science, and is already a student of full-time second-cycle studies in this field - the candidate is not allowed to undertake studies in the same field again.
Example 2: A candidate applies for full-time second-cycle studies in Computer Science, and is already a student of part-time second-cycle studies in this field - the candidate is not allowed to undertake both full-time and part-time studies in the same field at the same time.
Example 3: A candidate applies for both full-time and part-time second-cycle studies in Computer Science (submitting two application files) and is not currently a student of Rzeszów University of Technology in this field - if admitted to both programmes, the candidate must choose one mode of study before beginning the course.
1 § 26
- A student may undertake studies in another field of study at the University only through the admission procedure, under the rules set out in the Act and the resolution of the Senate.
- A person who is already a student of a given field of study may not apply for admission to the same field of study, regardless of the level, profile, or mode of studies currently pursued.
- A person who has been removed from the register of students or has graduated from a given field of study may apply for admission to the same field of study, level, mode, and profile of studies.
