INFORMATION CLAUSE

  3. Personal data will be processed for promotional purposes in connection with the conducted marketing campaign - pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a GDPR, i.e. on the basis of expressed consent.
  4. Providing data is voluntary.
  5. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing which was carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
  6. Personal data may be entrusted for processing to external entities acting on behalf of the Administrator, e.g. an entity providing IT services in the field of development, servicing and removal of failures in IT systems.
  7. Personal data may be made available to other entities, if it results directly from the provisions of law, e.g. legal services, photographers, ICT service providers.
  8. Personal data will be processed by 2 years and then archived.
  9. You have the right to:
    1. request access to the content of your data, rectification or limitation of processing and the right to object to the processing or to remove it,
    2. lodging a complaint to the supervisory body - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, based in Warsaw at ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
  10. Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making processes, including profiling.

Personal data protection:

According to Art. 13 sec. 1 and 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council as of 27th April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (i.e. General Regulation on data protection) (Journal of Laws UE.L 2016 No. 119, p. 1), hereinafter referred to as the GDPR, we would like to inform you that:

  1. The administrator of your personal data is the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology with headquarters at al. Powstańców Warszawy 12, 35-959 Rzeszów, phone number 17 865 1100, e-mail address: kancelaria@prz.edu.pl.
  2. The administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer supervising the correctness of the processing of personal data, who can be contacted by phone +48 17 865 1775 or e-mail address: iod@prz.edu.pl or to the address of the Administrator's office in any matter regarding processing your personal data and making use of rights related to the processing of such data.
  3. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of the recruitment for studies at the Rzeszów University of Technology, and in the case of admission to studies, also for the didactic and organizational purposes, necessary for the proper implementation and documentation of the education process, including statutory, archival and statistical purposes. The data resulting from the legal provisions cited below will be processed on the basis of art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b1 and c2 of the regulation. Other data provided by you will be processed on the basis of art. 6 section 1 lit. a3 of the regulation.
  4. Your personal data will be processed on the basis of the provisions of: the Act as of 3rd July, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1669, as amended), Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education as of 27th September, 2018 on studies (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1861), Act as of 21st November, 1967 on the universal obligation to defend the Republic of Poland (i.e. Journal of Laws as of 2018, item 1459, as amended), consent given in the case of data not resulting from legal provisions but necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were obtained.
  5. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Refusal to provide them results in the inability to participate in the recruitment.
  6. Your data will not be shared with external bodies with the exception of the cases provided for by law when the administrator may entrust the processing of your personal data to external entities acting on behalf of the Administrator, e.g. an entity providing IT services in the field of servicing and removing failures in IT systems.
  7. Your personal data will not be transferred to a recipient in a third country or an international organization.
  8. Your personal data will be processed for a period of 6 months after the end of the recruitment process, and in the case of admission to studies in accordance with the course of studies, then they will be archived and will be stored for 50 years or for another period required by applicable law.
  9. You have the right to access your data, rectify it or limit its processing, and the right to object to the processing or to remove it, if permitted by law.
  10. You have the right to transfer your data to another entity by submitting a transfer application.
  11. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent, prior to its withdrawal, subject to the provisions of the law.
  12. You have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory body (i.e. to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office) if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
  13. Your data will not be subjected to automated processes of decision making (including profiling).

1 Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b of the regulation: processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, or to take action at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
2 Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. c of the regulation: processing is necessary to fulfill the legal obligation imposed on the administrator.
3 Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a of the regulation: the data subject has consented to the processing of his/her personal data for one or more specific purposes.

II. Setting up an account in the SIR system:

Check the correctness of the data provided (criminal liability applies for providing inaccurate data under the article 233 of Criminal Code).

III. Obligations of a candidate:

SIR application form will be printed by the Foreign Affairs Office at the Rzeszow University of Technology. Upon arrival to the Rzeszow University of Technology, candidates must visit the Foreign Affairs Office to sign the SIR application form.
