Recruitment points

The basis for determining a place on the ranking list is the recruitment index R calculated according to the formula:

R = D + S + 2E

where the meaning of the individual symbols is as follows:

D – grade on the diploma of completed higher education;
S – average grade from studies;
E – positive grade from the entrance exam; in case of the course of Architecture, a positive grade from the portfolio review.

The grade on the diploma of completed higher education (D), the average grade from studies (S), and the grade from the entrance exam (E) are converted into points by the appropriate weight determined according to the grading scale in the completed higher education institution by the candidate according to the following list:

  • when the highest grade in the grading scale is a 5 – weight of 1,0
  • when the highest grade in the grading scale is a 5,5 – weight of 5/5,5
  • when the highest grade in the grading scale is a 6 – weight of 5/6

The grade obtained by the candidate from the examination verifying the learning outcomes achieved during the first degree programme may be recognised as the grade from the entrance examination, provided that the candidate applies for admission to the second degree programme in the same field of study and submits the certificate of completion of higher education or the diploma supplement.
